‘Ten Ways to Make a Great School Year’ on August 13

NJCTS Wednesday Webinar series continues with tips for a smooth transition from summer

Somerville, NJ- Labor Day is right around the corner and with it, the dread of returning to school. The New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders, Inc. (NJCTS) is hosting a presentation to help parents ensure a great school year.

As part of the NJCTS Wednesday Webinar series, Dr. Michael Osit will help parents conquer the stress that comes with homework, scheduling, and chauffeuring in the transition back to the classroom. Along with the stress comes excitement as each new grade can be an exciting chapter in a student’s life. Either way, Dr. Osit will discuss 10 things parents can do over the last weeks of summer to make a great school year.

Michael Osit, Ed.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked with children and adolescents for 35 years. He frequently presents seminars and workshops for mental health professionals, parents, and educators on issues such as parenting, child development, and communication. He earned his undergraduate degree in education from SUNY and his Ed.D. in counseling psychology from Rutgers University. Dr. Osit currently has a private practice in Warren and Morristown, NJ.
