The New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome (“NJCTS”) shares your concerns about the privacy of personal information collected on the internet.  The following privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) is intended to explain how we collect and use information in connection with our websites at www.StandwiththeGreats.org and www.njcts.org (each a “Website” and collectively the “Websites”). Your use of any of our Websites is subject to the provisions of this Privacy Policy as well as those of our Terms of Use. Please note that we may revise our Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage you to periodically visit this page to review our most current Privacy Policy. Your continued use of any of our Websites shall constitute your acceptance of any such changes to our Privacy Policy.

  1. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION THAT YOU PROVIDE TO US

We will collect information that you provide to us, such as information you provide us through email, registering for a program, making a donation, ordering a product, posting or making submissions on our Websites or completing a form. This information may include your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number and any other information you provide us. We use this information to respond to your request or question, and may also use it to contact you about other NJCTS activities, programs, events, membership, fundraising opportunities, products or other information related to our organization that may interest you. If you do not want NJCTS to use your information in this way, you may notify us to remove you from our list by emailing us at standwiththegreats@njcts.org or info@njcts.org. If you do not opt out, your permission is deemed to be granted.

  1. SHARING OF YOUR INFORMATION

NJCTS strives to keep all names, addresses, and all other personal information collected by us or supplied to us confidential. We do not share this information with any third party except as otherwise disclosed in this Privacy Policy. We may share the information that we gather about you with (a) third parties who assist us in operating our websites, conducting services or providing services to you, (b) an entity that acquires or merges with us or any of our Websites either by acquisition, merger, stock sale or by operation of law; or (c) to comply with the law, enforce our policies or to protect ours’ or others rights, property or safety.

You agree to defend the NJCTS Parties against all claims, proceedings, demands, or actions arising from or relating to your use of the Content, Submissions, Websites, or other information provided on or through the Websites  or these Terms or your breach of these Terms (each a “Claim”) and you shall indemnify and hold NJCTS Parties harmless from and against any expenses, losses, damages and costs (including but not limited to reasonable legal costs and disbursements) resulting from any such Claim. We have the right, at our expense, to assume exclusive defense against any Claim and all negotiations for settlement and you agree to cooperate with us, at our request, in the defense of any such Claim.

  1. TERMINATION

We reserve the right in our sole discretion to terminate or restrict your access to and use of the Websites, or any part of the Websites, without notice and for any and all reasons, and without any liability whatsoever to you or any third party. You may terminate your acceptance of your agreement with us by discontinuing any further use of our Websites.   1. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and the relationship between you and NJCTS shall be governed by the law of the State of New Jersey and those of the United States without regard to any conflict of law rules. You and NJCTS agree to submit to the exclusive and personal jurisdiction and venue for any dispute in the state and Federal courts of Newark, New Jersey, USA. Any cause of action you may have with respect to the Websites or these Terms must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arose.

  1. WAIVER

In the event that any portion of the Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the invalid or unenforceable portion shall be construed in accordance with the applicable law as nearly as possible to reflect the original intentions of the parties, and the remainder of the Terms shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any term of our Terms shall be deemed a continuing waiver of such term or any other term. The failure of NJCTS to enforce your strict performance of any provision of this Agreement will not constitute a waiver of its right to subsequently enforce such provision or any other provision of this Agreement.

 ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy which is incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and NJCTS and your use of our Websites and supersede any prior understanding or agreements (written or oral).
