This webinar will address the chronology, type, and development of tics, presented by a neurologist who not only treats tics but lives with them. The intrinsic relationship between the associated behavioral manifestations of attention deficit and obsessive-compulsive disorder will be explained.

Dr. Michael Rubenstein is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania and is on staff at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Rubenstein has been involved with the Tourette syndrome community for over 25 years as a primary referral physician as well as administrative roles with the Tourette Syndrome Association. In addition to his work with Tourette syndrome patients, Dr. Rubenstein has also developed a global health program in neurology and travels to Tanzania where he provides neurological education and care twice a year in a rural clinic there.
