3rd annual Youth Advocate 5K has been canceled because of Hurricane Sandy

Anyone registered for the Saturday, November 3 event in Mendham will automatically be signed up for the 2013 event!

On behalf of everyone at the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome
& Associated Disorders (NJCTS), we hope that you and your loved ones
are safe following the devastating impact of Hurricane Sandy. We know that nearly every Garden State resident has been affected in some way, shape or form by this storm, and because of that, we have decided to cancel the 3rd annual Youth Advocate 5K Family Run/Walk scheduled for Saturday, November 3, at Borough Park in Mendham.

Mendham, just like most of New Jersey, suffered significant damage from Hurricane Sandy – including many trees and power lines down along the 5K route. So, the event had to be canceled. We want everyone to know that, if you were signed up for the event, your registration will automatically carry over to the 2013 event! Right now, there is no action you need to take! More details, including a date, will follow.

Please note that fundraising opportunities for the 2012 event WILL remain available through Friday, November 16, should you want to donate. We would graciously accept those donations, and you can give by heading to our official fundraising page!

However, should you have any immediate questions about this year’s registration or fundraising, we invite you to call our office at 908-575-7350 at any time after Monday, November 5, or visit our website at www.njcts.org. We hope to see you and your family at the 2013 event. Please stay safe, and our thoughts are with you as we try to weather this event together.
