""Good day, I am a mom of a child with Tourette Syndrome. I live in rural Nova Scotia, Canada, where there are very few others who suffer from this. My daughter, like most kids with TS, hates going to school. She is misunderstood by her classmates and teachers.

To help her cope during her bad days with TS, I wrote a book called “Tic Talk.” It is a realistic view of her everyday life, good AND bad. The ending is positive and hopeful. I received encouragement for the book by parents with children with and without TS, and even parents of children with other mental and physical disorders. It is written in rhyme form and is a good book to teach tolerence, understanding and even bonding for those who suffer similar tics and anxieties.
