New Jersey families: Help declare June 4 as Tourette Syndrome Awareness Day in YOUR town!

Soccer star, Tourette Syndrome advocate and New Jersey native Tim Howard is coming home on June 4 to help the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders (NJCTS) launch a year-long Tourette Syndrome awareness campaign. And he needs YOUR help.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will issue a proclamation that June 4 is Tourette Syndrome Awareness Day across New Jersey. But Tim Howard and NJCTS are shooting for much more … we want similar proclamations from every corner of New Jersey — from High Point to Cape May and every municipality in between!

Requesting a proclamation is as easy as taking the sample picture below to your mayor right away. Ask your town to proclaim June 4, 2015 as Tourette Syndrome Awareness Day. It’s a simple request that they’d be happy to oblige. If you can meet with the mayor and

get a picture, we’ll issue a press release and post it to our website and here on the TSParentsOnline blog.

Join our team — reach for the goal and really put TS on the map! This is a wonderful opportunity for kids and families to advocate and become part of the NJCTS movement to stamp out stigma and gain understanding and acceptance for all people living with TS starting right were it matters most to our New Jersey families.

Call NJCTS at 908-575-7350 if you need more information. Be part of the team — we’re counting on you, so bring your requests to your mayor’s office today!
