This was, I believe, our seventh year at the Family Retreat Weekend at YMCA Camp Bernie. It is always a wonderful experience. The kids get to meet others with Tourette and enjoy the camping experience, while the parents can network and learn from the meetings provided for them. That’s why we keep coming back!
I would encourage anyone who has not yet had this unique experience to give it a try. You say your kids don’t want to go? Most kids say that before their first time … then they don’t want to leave and are asking when they can come back!
