Donate to the Youth Advocate 5K and help kids with neurological disorders

On Saturday, November 3, the 3rd annual Youth Advocate 5K Family Run/Walk will take place at Borough Park in Mendham, NJ. For the past two years, this event has been called New Jersey Walks For TS.

This year, the name has changed to the Youth Advocate 5K so that the event, which has raised more than $65,000 over the past two years — with a goal of reaching $100,000 upon he completion of this year’s event — can represent ALL kids with neurological disorders, not just those with Tourette Syndrome.

That means kids with OCD, ADHD, anxiety, Asperger’s and other neurological disorders can benefit from the proceeds of this event. But in order to make that happen, the event’s organizer — the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome (NJCTS) — needs YOU! Would you consider donating? Even the smallest amount helps!

Check out the Youth Advocate 5K by visiting the event home page/registration page, viewing the poster below or by visiting NJCTS’ home page and reading one or more of their many stories about the event.

You don’t have to live in New Jersey — or even the United States! — to support this event and help out kids with neurological disorders. Jump on the bandwagon and support this noteworthy, worthwhile cause today by donating to the Youth Advocate 5K!
