SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE TO NJ STUDENTS WITH TOURETTE SYNDROME APPLICATIONS DUE TO NJCTS APRIL 1ST

Somerville, NJ – Through the generosity of its donors, the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders, Inc. is accepting applications for its 2011 Children’s Scholarship Award. New Jersey high school seniors with Tourette Syndrome who plan to attend college or trade school upon graduation are encouraged to apply by April 1st.

The recipient will be chosen on the basis of his or her academic record, recommendations and an essay. In addition, art and music submissions are welcome but not mandatory. The purpose of the award is to both recognize the achievements of students with TS and to encourage their advanced study. Applications are available at www.njcts.org or by calling 908-575-7350 and must be received by April 1, 2011.

NJCTS has distributed 180 scholarships since 2001 through private donations. These contributions are always welcome and can be made by checks payable to “NJCTS Scholarship Fund” and sent to the NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome, 50 Division Street, Suite 205, Somerville, NJ 08876 or by visiting the donation page on njcts.org and selecting “Reserved Gifts.”
