Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology in partnership with The New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome

Fall ’09 Tourette Syndrome Clinic at St. Clare’s-Denville

The Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) is seeking families for their Tourette Syndrome Clinic being offered this October at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. The groups below will run concurrently and are designed to provide support for the entire family.

The Social Skills Program is intended to provide a supportive environment where children and adolescents can meet and share advice and skills with peers.

The Parent Group will offer the opportunity for parents to meet in a setting that will facilitate discussion on topics related to raising a child with TS.

The Sibling Group will focus on skills that allow brothers and sisters to better empathize and cope with having a family member with a neurological disorder.

  • When: 10 weeks beginning in October 6 th – 7:30 p.m.
  • Where: St. Clare’s Hospital, Pocono Road, Denville
  • Cost: Flat fee of $200 per family to participate in one or all of the workshop offerings

Registration for the TS Clinic at Rutgers – Piscataway will start in September for family workshops that will begin in January 2010.
