NJCTS receives $100 donation from Twin City Pharmacy to help fund NJ Walks For TS at Mendham T-shirts

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, N.J. – The New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders (NJCTS) is pleased to announce a donation from Twin City Pharmacy & Surgical of South Plainfield, in the amount of $100, which will help fund the purchase of T-shirts for runners, walkers, volunteers and other participants at the 4th annual NJ Walks For TS at Mendham on November 23.

The donation was secured by South Plainfield teenager Tommy Licato, who is an active Peer Advocate and fundraiser for NJCTS and participated in the first and second NJ Walks For TS at Mendham events. NJ Walks For TS at Mendham is a day dedicated toward awareness, acceptance, action and advocacy on behalf of the 1 in 100 children and families affected by TS and other neurological disorders.

“Twin City Pharmacy’s support of New Jersey’s kids like Tommy Licato is greatly appreciated and will go a long way toward achieving the goals of NJ Walks For TS at Mendham,” NJCTS Executive Director Faith W. Rice said. “We are excited to partner with Twin City Pharmacy, which is dedicated toward walking the walk and standing up to help kids with neurological disorders, and wish Tommy and the rest of his team the best with their efforts.”
