NJCTS Proudly Welcomes Atlantic Health as a Bronze Sponsor for 5th annual NJ Walks For TS at Mendham

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – The New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders (NJCTS) is proud to announce the Atlantic Health Neuroscience Institute as a Bronze Sponsor of the 5th annual NJ Walks For TS at Mendham on Saturday, November 15, a day set aside to stand up for acceptance, awareness and advocacy on behalf of children and families affected by TS and other neurological disorders.

Based at Overlook Medical Center, the Institute’s multidisciplinary staff diagnose and treat conditions such as neuromuscular disorders, brain tumors, concussions, stroke and epilepsy among many other neurological conditions. The donation of $1,000 will help the annual walk raise funds to support NJCTS’s School In-service Program which trains teachers and nurses at schools in every corner of the state, as well as conducting peer trainings and anti-bullying sessions on behalf of New Jersey kids with Tourette Syndrome.

“We are proud to return as sponsor of the New Jersey Walks event at Mendham, said Dr. Roger Kurlan, Director of the Movement Disorders Program. He continued, “We’re committed to the health of our neighbors in the Tourette Syndrome community.”

Atlantic Health Neuroscience Institute is made of experts in adult and pediatric neurology, neurosurgery, neuroradiology and related fields to deliver world-class medical care in state-of-the-art facilities, including a neuroscience inpatient unit and specialty programs and centers.

“We are pleased to continue our work together on behalf of New Jersey’s kids,” said NJCTS Executive Director Faith W. Rice. “Atlantic Neuroscience Institute’s support helps make this such a special and successful event.”
