This workshop focuses on accessing health coverage and services for children with special health care needs. Topics covered include an introduction to various health insurance models- who is eligible and how to apply; mental health services and the child behavioral health system; advocacy in the managed care environment; health support services; consumer laws- COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA; and adult systems of care.
