NJCTS invites families to attend a workshop which will provide training on education advocacy strategies and a review of IEP/504 plans.
In this workshop, you will receive valuable training on a variety of school support options for your child including 504, IEP, I&RS, and decision making and advocacy strategies. You’ll also have the opportunity to hear from two college students with Tourette Syndrome who share their experiences with and without formal school support. During the Advocate/Attorney Panel, leading special education attorneys and advocates will discuss effective strategies to utilize when working with a school district.
As a special offer, you will have the opportunity to consult with an advocate/attorney in a one-on-one 504/IEP review session. Seats for this session of the program are very limited and available on a first-come first-serve basis.
