We will discuss the different components of an IEP and highlight some key things to look for when reviewing your child’s IEP. Learning objectives for this presentation include: 1. Understanding your parental rights 2. Learning about the evaluation process and classification categories for an IEP 3. Examining the eligibility criteria for the different classifications, with an emphasis on the classification category “Other Health Impairment,” which many students with Tourette Syndrome fall under. 4.
