Outschool – Navigating Social Stress & Peer Pressure for Tweens (ages 10-12)

NJCTS is excited to partner with Outschool to bring you engaging and interactive life skills and creative arts classes for youth with Tourette Syndrome, Tic Disorders and associated conditions.

In this session tweens will learn about the causes and skills to manage social and peer pressure instead of letting these pressures overwhelm them. Students will learn about creative visualization to become clearer about who they are and what they want.

This class is interactive and will include discussions and mindfulness exercises for managing emotions. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and share their thoughts and perspectives.

Outschool is an innovative online educational platform providing fun, live and interactive learning experiences for youth. They offer a variety of classes that help to enrich learning and inspire children. Parents and kids love it!

This class will be facilitated by Sandra Panton-Foster, MS, CNW. For over 25 years, she has created and delivered custom-tailored curricula focusing on stress and anxiety management, health and wellness, interpersonal relationship building, mindfulness, and goal setting/visualization. She has extensive experience coaching youth and adults in areas that encompass physical, emotional, and spiritual health. We are looking so forward to working with Sandra!

We are pleased to offer this private session in partnership with Outschool at no cost to participants but space is limited so register early to avoid disappointment.
