What is Executive Function?
Executive function refers to the cognitive processes that allow us to plan, focus attention, remember instructions, and juggle multiple tasks successfully. These skills are crucial for decision-making, time management, problem-solving, and self-regulation.

About our presenters:
Dr. Amanda Ferriola is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and a certified school psychologist in New Jersey. She provides a safe space for children, adolescents and families to address presenting concerns in order to live meaningful, values-driven lives. She specializes in treating behavior disorders, anxiety and related disorders, Tourette’s Syndrome, trichotillomania and habit disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, behavioral health concerns (including sleep training, feeding/picky eating, and toileting difficulties) and school related concerns (including test anxiety, school refusal, consultation related to special education, and social skills).
Dr. Hui Shi Jiang (石荟博士) is an award-winning licensed psychologist, Nationally Certified School Psychologist, and Certified Special Education Teacher with expertise in both psychology and education. She is the Co-Founder of The PrEP Program and the director of 3E Center. She holds a Doctor of Psychology degree from Rutgers University and master’s degrees in Early Childhood, Special Education, and Bilingual Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
