This webinar will provide an overview of Tourette syndrome in youth, from the initial diagnosis through treatment. We will begin with a discussion of what tics are, common co-occurring conditions such as ADHD, OCD, and anxiety, and the often complex path to receiving an accurate diagnosis. Next, we will review the typical course of the condition over time and research-based treatment options to support youth at home and at school. This workshop is designed for parents, caregivers, and professionals who are new to Tourette syndrome or who are simply in the process of learning more about the condition.
