A Fresh Start for a Stronger Future: NJCTS Celebrates Grand Re-Opening

NJCTS Staff

On June 25, the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders (NJCTS) celebrated a joyful milestone: the grand re-opening of its headquarters at 50 Division Street in downtown Somerville. The day marked not only a ribbon cutting and open house, but a renewed commitment to the families, teens, and professionals we serve across the state.

Thanks to a generous grant, the office underwent a full renovation to create a more functional and welcoming space. The new open floor plan is designed to foster collaboration and innovation among NJCTS staff, partners, and the community. Photos on the walls highlight our incredible families and inspiring teen advocates, who bring energy and purpose to our mission every day.

The event brought together supporters, including members of the Somerset County Business Partnership, who were instrumental during the renovation process. Mayor Brian Gallagher and The Downtown Somerville Alliance also joined the celebration, offering their enthusiastic support and hometown pride. Sweetening the day were delicious cupcakes donated by local favorite Blue Sheep Bakery. We are especially grateful to our neighbors at 50 Division Street who came out to celebrate this new chapter with us.

As we move forward in our revitalized space, we are more energized than ever to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and continue building a community of support for those living with Tourette Syndrome. Here’s to new beginnings and a brighter future.
