Ok, you have the diagnosis, you’ve explained it to your child, let the family know what next? Should you tell the school? Does the school really need to know? Won’t that stigmatize my child? Are they going to label my child and pigeon hole him/her? What about the church congregation or the sports team?

Dr. Zambrano received his Bachelors of Science from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, his Masters of Psychology and Doctorate of Clinical Psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology of Rutgers University.

He works in private practice at Stress and Anxiety Services of New Jersey, in East Brunswick. Prior to this, he was on staff at the Rutgers Psychological Clinic’s Tourette Syndrome Program.

Dr. Zambrano specializes in working with children and adults with OCD, depression, and other anxiety disorders as well as Tourette Syndrome syndrome. He has been certified by the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute, which is provided by the International OCD Foundation. He is also certified to work with patients who have been diagnosed with Trichotillomania and other body focused repetitive behaviors by the Trichotillomania Learning Center.
