My high school and college age children with TS/OCD/ ADHD adopted the sleep/wake cycle of most college kids which is up all night. They are now trying to shift back to a more normal routine but are finding this difficult due to the ADHD and tic behavior. Any suggestions?

The side effect for many of the medications used to treat TS, OCD, Anxiety/Depression is sleepiness and fatigue. My teenagers with TS have found the intensity of this to be overwhelming and difficult to fight off during the school day. Sleep apnea has been diagnosed in one child. What suggestions can you offer for management given that they need the medication?

My child is about to begin taking Strattera for ADD issues. Should this impact her sleep?

I have a 16 year old with idosympatic insomnia. He also has AD not hyperactivity. He is taking ambien at night and concerta during the day. What is the role of ambien in treating these disorders?
